Welcome to the Survival Frog Blog

With the popularity of survival and prepping shows on television, there are a plethora of survival and prepping blogs springing up daily on the net.

After a while, they can all start to look and sound the same. By providing practical information relevant to everyday living, we hope to rise above the rest and be a regular source that you can trust.

What we are not

We here at the Survival Frog Survival Blog are not doomsayers, trying to sell you on an end of the world scenario.

While we don’t push apocalyptic scenarios we do acknowledge the fact that disasters happen. We feel everyone has the ultimate responsibility for their own survival and we strive to provide practical information that is relevant to things happening in your life.

Yes, we are preppers, so we plan ahead and prepare for the possible bad things that can happen and share our experiences with you.

Topics

From wilderness survival to prepping in an inner city apartment, the Survival Frog Survival Blog strives to bring topics to you that are useful.

We try to be as helpful to as many people as possible by having a diverse range of topics. You can look through our topic index and see items such as Homesteading Tips, Alternative Energy, Natural Remedies, and Self Defense.

These are in addition to traditional prepping/survival topics like SHTF, Bushcraft, Prepping, and Emergency Survival.

We want to bring you information that you can use right now, ideas you can research on your own after we light the spark, and introduce you to skills you will want to consider learning.

Archives / Index

If you get a chance, check out the Survival Frog Survival Blog archives pages.

You can catch up on all the information we already have out there. If you don’t see what you are looking for, you can even suggest something to write about that we haven’t thought of yet. There is plenty of reading to keep you busy on those off moments that you find yourself searching the web for something to read.

Writers

Survival Frog Survival Blog writers are real folks who live what they write about, not some content mill somewhere that churns out keyword rich blather intended to get search results, but providing little in the way of practical knowledge. We try to avoid theoretical knowledge whenever possible, and give you what we know works for us. When you read one of our posts, you can expect that the information has been applied in the real world before it was ever written down, and you can feel confident when you pass the information on to others.

We try to spend more time doing than we do writing about it. You will rarely hear parroted information unless we know it actually works.
